Day 1:

Your Garden Route Tour begins. We depart from Port Elizabeth and head towards picturesque region of Tsitsikamma Forest and Coastal National Park. The first stop is for refreshments at the scenic Storms River Bridge. We continue on a short distance to the unique Garden Route favourite – The Big Tree. A short walk through the shaded serenity of the Tsitsikamma forest will take us to this awe-inspiring 800 year-old wonder where we share its fascinating stories with you. We continue to Storms River Mouth in the Tsitsikamma National Park for lunch. Following lunch we drive through the captivating Garden Route and the the scenic Nature’s Valley and the Bloukrans River Pass. We then make a stop at the popular coastal town of Plettenberg Bay.

Heading on Garden Route we stop in Knysna. Here we take a scenic trip around the beautiful lagoon on a ferry, enjoying refreshments onboard. After the unique experience we head back to the Knysna quays. We tour onto Sedgefield and the 5 lakes, before we arrive at your first nights accommodation in the stunning Wilderness.

Day 2: 

After breakfast we head off towards Mossel Bay where we take a tour of the historic town, visiting the museum complex and the ‘Post Office Tree’. After Mossel Bay, we head for Swellendam, another historic town nestled in a majestic mountain range. After a slow drive through this beautiful area, we turn off towards Cape Agulhas, the southern-most tip of Africa. We continue on to our final destination for the day, Bredasdorp.

Day 3: After breakfast we have the option of visiting the ‘Shipwreck Museum’, before we then head off towards Hermanus, a coastal town set against a magnificent cape mountain range. Hermanus is home to the Southern Right Whale and is one of the best whale and dolphin watching spots in the world. So if it is the right season, we may spot some of these splendid creatures. Next it’s off to the beautiful city of Cape Town. On route we pass through a number of the Western Cape’s unique and scenic coastal towns such as Pringle Bay and Strand.

Day 4:

We wake up to a Cape Town city morning and after breakfast head out for the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. On the way we stop at Boulders Penguin Sanctuary. Our route takes us through the charming Hout Bay, a scenic residential suburb with a picturesque fishing harbour and village.

On arrival back in Cape Town we can visit various points of interest, museums, the 2-Ocean Aquarium, the Observatory and, weather permitting, we take a ride up the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. From the table top we will be able to take pleasure in an extensive view of the most beautiful city – The City of Cape Town. The views spread out from the mountain and stretch along the constant beauty of  Cape Town’s coastline.

Day 5:

After breakfast we head off in the direction of the famous Cape Winelands. We take a short walking tour, with the opportunity to taste and buy some of the world’s most renowned wines.

As the final day of the tour draws to a close, we head for the Cape Town International Airport, just in time for check in. You leave with memories to last a lifetime!!
