Umzantsi Afrika, which means "South Africa" in the local XHOSA language, operates as unique Tour Specialist in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. We design unique tour packages, especially day tours, shore excursions, multi-day tours and Garden Route tours . Port Elizabeth is a destination that has an abundance of golden sandy beaches and proximity to world class, malaria-free game parks, game drives, safaris. Lyn Haller - Operations Manager

Lyn is one of the Founding Members and Operations Manager at Umzantsi Afrika Tours. Furthermore, with 25 years experience in tourism she has a passion for making every tourist's experience an unforgettable African wonder. Lyn has been a registered and qualified CATHSETA (SATOUR) Tourist Guide for the Eastern & Western Cape since 2004.

Born in South Africa, she is a direct descendant of the German Settlers who arrived in East London in 1876. Lyn has a great passion for South Africa's unique fauna, flora and the country's historical heritage.

Lyn also designs all of the unique Private Tours and a variety of unique Garden Route Tours according to each tourists unique requirements. In addition, Lyn is the Founder and Owner of Umzantsi Afrika Training Academy. She facilitates lectures that qualify up and coming Tour Guides. Peter Haller - Umzantsi Afrika Tours Own

Peter is the proud Owner of Umzantsi Afrika Tours operating from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. What's more, Peter has 25 years experience in tourism.

He is an Austrian-born citizen who has been a resident in South Africa since 1969. Peter is a qualified and well-known experienced tour guide. He has been registered with the National Tourist Guide CATHSETA (SATOUR) since 2001.

Peter is a highly sought after tour guide being fluent in both English and specifically German. He has extensive experience in cultural, nature, historical and in addition, geological/fossil tours. Travelling up the Garden Route is a tour Peter designs with years of personal experience and Garden Route best accommodations and activities.

Peter is also qualified in offering professional meet and greet services in German for tourists that arrive at the International Airport of Port Elizabeth, assisting them to their car hire, Forex or helping with other needs on arriving in Port Elizabeth.

Thuli Catha - Travel Consultant

Thuli Catha is a Travel Consultant for Umzantsi Afrika Tours , in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.   Thuli has been working for Umzantsi Afrika Tours since 2009. Furthermore, Thuli was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

She is a descendant of the Tembu Tribe. Thuli loves the rich cultural history of our rainbow nation - South Africa.  She is passionate about the tourism industry and enjoys travel as well as working with people. Thuli specifically shows interest in our custom designed and uniquely designed Private Tours.

Luxolo - Associate Tour Guide

Luxolo is an Associate Tour Guide, who furthermore focuses on new business development for Umzantsi Afrika Tours, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

He holds a diploma in Tourism and was awarded a distinction in Travel Services. He also completed a level 2 NQF culture and nature tour guide program facilitated by the Eastern Cape Province Parks and Tourism Authority in 2021. Luxolo is a vision driven employee, assisting Umzantsi Afrika Tours with new ideas. He is a township tour designer and specialist.

Luxolo has a background in media as a presenter and in addition, he is a sales presenter at IFm community radio station. Luxolo also has a background in the hotel and travel industry.

Denise Venter - Office Manager

Denise is the Office Manager for Umzantsi Afrika Tours.

She manages the logistics for the office, for all our clients and client tours, as well as tourist pick-ups. Managing the administration of the business, she ensures there is always a point of contact for the tour guides and tourists as required. Denise is the friendly voice on the other side of the telephone when clients ring in and enquire about our unique tours.

Denise ultimately plays an essential role within Umzantsi Afrika Tours.

 

Tanielle Victor - Marketing

Tanielle is the Marketing Manager for Umzantsi Afrika Tours.

She holds a degree in Marketing Management & Business Management. Tanielle manages the marketing of Umzantsi Afrika Tours and furthermore looks after our online marketing, website and graphic design. Tanielle assists Lyn with project management as well as the creative writing of tour packages and itineraries on the website.

Fanado - Associate Tour Guide

Fanando is an Associate Tour Guide for Umzantsi Afrika Tours.

He was born and raised in Port Elizabeth, where he has lived for 51 years. He worked in the automotive industry for 31 years before deciding to follow his real passion for the Eastern Cape. This passion inspired Fanando to become a tour guide, showcasing the beauty and unique attractions of the Eastern Cape region.

He is a valued member of our team.

Lorence - Associate Tour Guide

Lorence is an Associate Tour Guide for Umzantsi Afrika Tours. He was born in Port Elizabeth South Africa. He worked for Coca Cola and had the opportunity to deal with people of many cultures being a representative. Following this he started work as an Uber Driver, already having 6 years of driving experience.

It was on taking one of his clients to The Addo Elephant National Park, he realized his passion for wildlife and nature.  This passion drew Lorence to study to become a Tour Guide, which is where he is today, successfully showcasing attractions around the Eastern Cape Region.
