Protea Farm and Woodcutters Journey
A day spent in the Tsitsikamma area of the Garden Route. Starting with a visit to a beautiful Protea Flower Farm with lunch at Oudebosch nearby then continue to the Storms River Village for the Woodcutters Journey into the Tsitsikama Forest with afternoon tea. On our way we learn about the fauna and flora of the area.

Tsitsikamma National Park & Woodcutters Journey
A day spent in the Tsitsikamma National Park firstly visiting the Storms River Mouth for a walk along the longest suspension bridge in the Southern Hemisphere after which we travel to the Storms River Village to board the 4×4 for the Woodcutters Journey into the valley of the forest for a delicious lunch learning all about the fauna and flora along the way.

Sunday River Ferry
Travel via Swartkops River and Bluewater Bay to the lovely village of Colchester on the bank of the Sundays River for a 3hr Ferry Cruise to view the 2nd longest natural dune forest in the world. Birds here in abundance. ** Option to do Sand Boarding **

Gamtoos Valley, Patensie, Baviaanskloof and the Kouga Dam
Enjoy a day in this beautiful fertile valley where many of the French Huguenots who became “Free Burghers” left the Cape to flee from the restraints of the Dutch East India Company, traveled east and found this valley and settled. This valley is the main fruit and vegetable supply for Port Elizabeth. View the amazing Table Mountain Sandstone formations in the start of the Baviaanskloof Pass. Visit Sarah Baartman’s grave and listen to the history of this area as well as the story of this San woman. Area abounds in beautiful geographical formations. Visit the beautiful Kouga Dam which feeds this fertile valley.
