Quad Biking

Explore a different side of Addo on a quad bike (4 wheeler). On this guided tour (with an experienced rider) you will use a 300cc 2-seater automatic Quad Bikes, while viewing some of the scenic parts of the Sundays River Valley. Various routes are mapped out and clearly marked for a thrilling experience. The tracks used follow a natural rift valley that leads up onto a plateau from where the Indian Ocean can be viewed. Spot the whales and dolphins and in October, watch out for the two “Orca” that come to our shores every year.

Addo River Safari & Addo Elephant National Park

Enjoy a 3 hour River Safari. Explore a different side of Addo and view game and birds on the riverbank while you drift down some of the scenic parts of the Sunday’s River in a custom designed, comfortable and safe canoe (no paddling experience needed). Drinks, Snacks, Custom Canoes and Life Jackets supplied. One of the best bird watching experiences in the Eastern Cape – 7 different species of Kingfisher and the chance of sighting the magnificent Fish Eagle. After lunch visit Addo Elephant National Park for the afternoon.

Bush & Beach Horse Trail – Sardinia Bay

Only 30 minutes out of the city centre and you can meet your horse for a serene, easy trot along the shoreline of the Indian Ocean with some adrenalin-induced gallops. enjoy the cool wind on your face and exhilarating sea air. This is a two to three hour bush and beach ride, traveling a distance of about 13 km. Almost half of the distance comprises an open stretch that is best enjoyed at a gallop, allowing the horse to share the exhilaration it experiences when allowed to run free.

The views are spectacular and the horses are well-trained, friendly and obedient. Between July and December, whales are often seen breaching in the warm ocean waters and there is magnificent birdlife all around, and many species can be spotted along the way.  If you are an experienced rider you are given the opportunity to go on an unguided tour.

Zipline and Storms River Mouth

Enjoy a day in the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve on the Garden Route on an adventure trip. Firstly a Zipline Tour, which is a swing over numerous beautiful waterfalls in the Tsitsikamma Forests in a secure safety harness after which we travel to the awe inspiring Storms River mouth where you have the opportunity to take a walk over the suspension bridge which spans the stormy gorge or you can simply enjoy this beautiful part of the Garden Route  while you enjoy your lunch. Canopy Treetop Tour & Storms River Mouth

Enjoy a day in the Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve on the Garden Route on an adventure trip. Firstly, a Canopy Tree Top Tour, which is a swing through the tree tops of the beautiful Yellowwood Forests in a safety harness. Segway & Tsitsikamma National Park

Spend the day in the Tsitsikamma National Park, a conservation area for both land and marine. Visit Storms River Mouth for a walk to the suspension bridge which crosses the thunderous river mouth. Option to take a cruise up the gorge (extra surcharge applies). After lunch enjoy a 2 hour Segway Tour from Storms River Village through these beautiful natural forests to the “Big Tree” – large Yellowwood Tree – before we return to Port Elizabeth.

Bungy & Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve

An outing to the Tsitsikamma area firstly doing a Bungy Jump for the highest bridge jump in the world. Once you have your breathe back we drive to the Storms River Mouth for an optional walk to the suspension bridge over the gorge or simply just enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst eating lunch before returning to Port Elizabeth.
