Day 1:  Cape Town to Hermanus – Pick up 09h00 from accommodation in Cape Town.   Travelling around False Bay and along the coast to the Whale Capital of South Africa – Hermanus.  Here you can take the option of a boat cruise (optional extra).  Whale Season is July to November annually, but there are usually whales that stay around if the feeding is good.

Overnight Hermanus Dorpshuys

Day 2:  Hermanus to Oudtshoorn –  After breakfast depart for Cape Agulhas, the most Southern Point of Africa and where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.  Travel to Mossel Bay to visit the Diaz Museum.  See the Post Office Tree as well as the intriguing KhoiSan Cave before heading over the Robertson Pass to the “Ostrich Capital” of the world –  Oudtshoorn. Visit an Ostrich Farm.

Overnight Hlangana Lodge

Day 3:  Oudtshoorn to Knysna –  After breakfast visit the famous Cango Caves then continue along the N2 through Wilderness.  View its beautiful, pristine beach and village and interesting Lake District and enter the beautiful coastal town of Knysna.  ** Enjoy a sundowner cruise to the Heads of the scenic Knysna Lagoon. (optional extra) **

Overnight: Knysna Belle

Day 4:  Knysna to Port Elizabeth –  After breakfast drive to the top of the Eastern Head.  See a fantastic view of the Indian Ocean as well as the lagoon and the town of Knysna, Take a scenic drive to the playground of the millionaires, Plettenberg Bay.  Can stop and watch a Bungy Jump, highest Static Bridge Jump in the world – Bloukrans Bridge. Visit the Tsitsikamma National Park and travel down to the Storms River Mouth for a walk along the boardwalk and over the longest suspension bridge in Africa which spans the Storms River Mouth.  After this travel along the N2 past Jeffreys Bay, Surfers Paradise, to the coastal city of Port Elizabeth.
