Day 1: Leave Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape and travel in a north westerly direction towards Aberdeen known for its strange church steeple. From there we travel along the wild and eroded Camdeboo mountain range and on to the idyllic town of Graaff-Reinet. After a visit to different museums, we reach the Valley of Desolation from where you will have a fantastic view over the gigantic and wide high plateau of the Great Karoo. Until 65 million years ago a variety of dinosaurs lived here which have left a rich collection of fossils.

Day 2: After breakfast we visit the strange and famous Owl House and have a guided tour along an ancient Riverbed where one can still see fossil body parts embedded in the rocks. Visit the only private fossil museum in SA. With the 2500m Sneeuberge in the background we travel along the Bankberge to the Mountain Zebra National Park near Cradock. After a refreshment stop, we take a game drive in this park. There are 250+ Zebra and other animals.

Day 3: Travel in a south westerly direction along the different mountain ranges and reach the southern end of the Drakensberg Mountains. You will notice the daily change of vegetation on this tour.

Day 4: Visit a unique 35m (approx 110 ft) long Bushman painting. After this we travel via MacLear and Matatiele, which are positioned in an incomparable and wild romantic mountain range, to reach our accommodation in KwaZulu Natal;

Day 5+6: Today we travel along the eastern side of the Umkhahlamba Mountains of the Drakensberg range. After stops along the route at gigantic waterfalls and other interesting sites we reach the foot of Champagne Castle Peak where we stay for 2 nights and have the opportunity of hikes nearby or extended area or you can simply relax in nature.

Day 7,8 and 9: Carry on traveling in a north easterly direction to the area of Dundee where we visit the historical battle sites where Zulu Impis and English troops clashed. From there we travel on to the northern part of KwaZulu Natal and reach the Hluhluwe Game Reserve where we will spend 3 nights. Here you can spot a large variety of animals on our game drives. We will also take a boat cruise in St Lucia where you may spot crocodiles and hippos in their free and natural environment.

Day 10: Leave the Game Reserve and travel in a south westerly direction along the Natal north coast to Umhlanga where we have time to visit this beautiful beach.

Day 11: Do a city tour of Durban and the visit the wonderful world of uShaka Water World.

Day 12: After breakfast and a stroll along the beach – we have to end this wonderful tour with a timely transport to the airport from where you can depart with countless memories of South Africa.
