Day 1: Depart Port Elizabeth and head towards picturesque region of Tsitsikamma Forest and Coastal National Park. First stop is for refreshments at scenic Storms River Bridge. After stretching our legs, we continue on a short distance to the Big Tree. A short walk through shaded serenity of the Tsitsikamma forest will take us to this awe-inspiring 800 year-old wonder. Drive down to Storms River Mouth for an option to walk across the suspension bridge which spans the wild Storms River.
Next destination is Knysna, en-route to this charming Garden Route town, we take in a stunning coastal view at the elevated lookout at Plettenberg Bay. A 20-minute drive on from Plett, we see Knysna nestled on the banks of a beautiful lagoon. We will spend the night here, taking time to absorb the great scenery and charming holiday atmosphere. While in Knysna, we have the option of taking a sunset cruise across the lagoon to the famous Knysna heads.

Day 2: After breakfast we leave Knysna and head for the coastal town of Mossel Bay, but before getting there we take time enjoying all the Garden Route has to offer, as we travel through Sedgefield and the unique eco-system of the 5 lakes. When we reach Mossel Bay, we take a short tour around the historic town. Next on the agenda is a trip inland over the Robinson Pass. This will lead to our next destination, the Karoo town of Oudtshoorn. Here we visit an ostrich farm and maybe even ride an ostrich!

Day 3: After breakfast we visit the world famous Cango Caves, and if requested the Cango Wildlife Ranch. From there, we continue on our way to Cape Town via the quaint towns and wine routes of Barrydale, Montagu and Robertson, over the beautiful Du Toit’s Kloof Pass and through the Paarl Valley to the Mother City of Cape Town.
